Homebowl gives general information about home-cooked food for healthy adult dogs. Plans are estimates built from standard formulas and published nutrient data; they do not replace a veterinarian who has examined your dog. Puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs and dogs with a medical condition need a diet checked by a veterinarian or a board-certified veterinary nutritionist. If your dog eats something toxic, contact your vet or an animal poison control center immediately.

Estimates

Calorie targets can differ from a dog's real needs by 20% or more: weigh your dog regularly and adjust portions. Grocery costs use average US supermarket prices, 2026 and will differ from your store. Recipes are only balanced when the vitamin-mineral supplement shown in the plan is added.

Using the site

Plans are for your personal use. Don't copy, resell or republish the site's content, recipes or images without written permission. Brand names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify products; Homebowl has no affiliation with them.

Subscriptions

The free plan covers your dog's calorie needs and the first week of meals. Paid plans are billed by Stripe in US dollars: Monthly $5.99 per month, Annual $39.99 per year. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing [email protected]; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
